Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. salmon filet, bone-free about 2 filets
  • 2 lbs. chicken breast, boneless about 2
  • 1 large sweet potato unpeeled & chopped
  • 3 medium carrots unpeeled & chopped
  • 1 cup spinach, frozen chopped
  • 1 cup green beans, frozen chopped
  • 2 cups brown rice, uncooked
  • 6 cups water

Instructions

  • Add the vegetables, rice, salmon, chicken, and water to the base of the Instant Pot.
  • Set to Pressure Cook for 18 minutes, then allow a natural release (about 20-40 minutes).
  • Once pressure has fully released, open the lid and give everything a good stir, breaking the chicken apart into bite-sized pieces. The salmon will come apart easily.
  • If your mixture looks a little soupy, that is ok, the rice will continue to absorb the liquid as it cools.
  • Cool completely before serving to your dog.
