This Instant Pot Salmon Dog Food with Chicken is a wholesome, balanced recipe that combines salmon, chicken, brown rice, and veggies for a nutrient-rich meal. It’s an easy way to add healthy omega-3s and variety to your dog’s diet, and the Instant Pot makes the whole process simple. Perfect as a full meal or a flavorful topper for your pup's kibble.
Add the vegetables, rice, salmon, chicken, and water to the base of the Instant Pot.
Set to Pressure Cook for 18 minutes, then allow a natural release (about 20-40 minutes).
Once pressure has fully released, open the lid and give everything a good stir, breaking the chicken apart into bite-sized pieces. The salmon will come apart easily.
If your mixture looks a little soupy, that is ok, the rice will continue to absorb the liquid as it cools.
Cool completely before serving to your dog.
