Whisk flour and beer together in a shallow bowl. Add a pinch of salt.
Heat pan with oil on medium high heat. Oil is hot enough if you place a small drop of batter in oil and it begins to sizzle.
Coat flowers in batter and add to pan. Fry on each side for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Place cooked flowers on a sheet pan or plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.
Serve with a marina sauce, blue cheese dressing, ranch dressing or any of your favorite dipping sauces.
