  • Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Spray oil 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, blend sugar and butter using an electric mixer. Blend for about 2 minutes until creamy.
  • Continue to mix and add 1 egg at a time to the bowl, blending with mixer.
  • Blend in extract.
  • Blend in sifted flour 1 cup at a time until combined.
  • Spread half of batter evenly in prepared pan.
  • Add both cans of cherry pie filling over batter.
  • Top with remaining batter.
  • Place in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until top is slight golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Cut into size squares of your liking.
  • Serve and enjoy!
