Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Spray oil 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, blend sugar and butter using an electric mixer. Blend for about 2 minutes until creamy.
Continue to mix and add 1 egg at a time to the bowl, blending with mixer.
Blend in extract.
Blend in sifted flour 1 cup at a time until combined.
Spread half of batter evenly in prepared pan.
Add both cans of cherry pie filling over batter.
Top with remaining batter.
Place in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until top is slight golden brown.
Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Cut into size squares of your liking.
