This cherry dessert is delicious, moist, and super easy to make. Perfect with a cup of coffee or tea. I enjoy mine with hot latte!

So that I can whip this up anytime, I always keep a couple cans of cherry filling on hand for when we need a dessert.

How to store Cherry Squares

Cherry squares are best if stored in refrigerator as they will last longer. They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for about 2-3 days, but they will begin to get a bit soggy beyond that.

Conclusion

There is no doubt these are one of our family’s favorite desserts. Moist, flavorful dessert that presents like you slaved over it! For the extract, as stated above, you can use almond or vanilla extract. I usually use almond extract as it blends so well with the cherry flavor. But I also use vanilla at times and taste great also! Hope you enjoy these as much as we do!
