Pumpkin and Apple Dog Treats

- 1 cup Pumpkin puree (not pie filling)
- 1 Apple - peeled, cored and grated
- 1½ cups whole wheat flour
- ¾ cup quick oats
- 1 large egg, beaten
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 350℉ (175℃). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Ina large bowl, whisk the egg. Add pumpkin puree and whisk to combine. Stir in grated apple.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk to combine the flour, oats and baking soda.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix to combine until dough forms.
Scoop about 2 tablespoons dough onto the baking sheet. With damp fingers, press each treat to form 2-inch round that is about ½ inch thick.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until set and lightly golden brown on the bottom.
Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely before serving to your pup.
Storage
Store these pumpkin apple dog treats in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days, refrigerator for 1 week, or freezer for 3 months.
