If you are like me, I never have Italian Seasoning mix on hand when I need it! So after multiple times of not having it or the stores being out of stock, I researched and tweaked to create my own so that I always have it on hand.
Mix together spices that you probably already have in your pantry. That’s the best thing, use what you have. Just get the right combo and you’re good to go.
I use this on everything, even tofu! That post will be coming soon!
Ingredients for Italian Seasoning Mix
- Parsley, dried
- Oregano, dried
- Basil, dried
- Rosemary, dried
- Thyme, dried
- Garlic powder

How to
Mix all spices together and store in an airtight jar. I prefer glass jars – canning jars are my go-to storage for most things.

Label it and store in your pantry for up to 1 year. After 1 year, it will still be good, however it will start to loose it’s flavor.

Ways to use Italian Seasoning Mix
Use it in any recipe that calls for Italian Seasoning. Goes great on poultry, pizza, in soups, and yes, on tofu! It adds a perfect season to homemade croutons!
If you like the seasoning ground a little finer, then pulse in a spice grinder if you have one. Or in a small food processor, or using a mortar and pestle.
